Those Bad Guys

Last week Marvin decided he felt like boiling some crawfish. Jessica and various friends said that was great because they felt like eating some crawfish. So this morning Larkin and her parents met a Louisiana Foods truck in an alley behind some restaurants in North Austin and bought 35 pounds of live crawfish. Larkin was somewhat intrigued by the critters, referring to them as "those bad guys" every time Marvin lifted the cooler lid. Despite concern that there would be massive amounts of leftover crawfish, the six adults at hand managed to finish them off with only one small bag of peeled tails left. Turns out "those bad guys" weren't so bad after all...

                                

Upon closer inspection, it would appear that everyone in this photo has a pained look on his or her face. We promise they really were enjoying themselves.

 Larkin and Charlotte kept their distance from the actual eating of the "bad guys."
