May Madness

 In the past three days, we've had two soccer parties, a 7th grade athletics ceremony, a 5th grade completion ceremony, and an orchestra concert. Thursday is the last day of school for the girls, when things will hopefully slow down a tad. 

Happy Mother's Day

 The girls and I ate lunch at Mandola's and then explored Pease Park's treehouse and giant wooden troll. 

Logan's Birthday Sleepover

 Logan had a few friends over yesterday to go skating and then for a sleepover. She's properly exhausted today. 

This is Eleven!

 Logan is eleven today! To celebrate, she asked for a shopping spree at three of her favorite stores--Pinkbox, Daiso, and Toy Joy. She did some damage at Pinkbox and Daiso this morning and is now taking a break for lunch before we go to Toy Joy. 

Lee Sings Spring Concert

 Logan has been in the choir at Lee this year (called Lee Sings). They had their end-of-year concert this evening, and she did a great job. 

Overdue Eclipse Post

 I forgot to post photos of Logan, her classmates and me at her school for the total solar eclipse last Monday. It was too cloudy to actually see the moment of totality, but the sun/moon peaked out of the clouds just before and just after totality. Regardless, the complete darkness in the middle of the day for 90 seconds was pretty neat!

Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders Orientation

 Logan had 6th grade orientation at Ann Richards' SYWL this morning. She's very excited!

 After a weekend of soccer games, we went to Bass Concert Hall to see Wicked with M.A. A very good, busy weekend.
