They won! Larkin seems to gravitate toward the defensive positions. She enjoys kicking the ball out of bounds, and a few times during the game she overtook the boy from the other team who was dribbling the ball down the field and stole it away.

Logan got a little over-exuberant about covering up a few scrapes on her legs from falling down this evening at the playground. Paw Patrol Bandaids are a hit in this house.

Last night when an episode of  _Paw Patrol_ ended, she burst out with a pretty clear "goddammit" just as casually as could be. Unfortunately, I can't even blame Marvin for this one because on Sunday when the girls were painting, Larkin spilled orange paint every where. I was frustrated and let slip the exact uncouth phrase that Logan then used the next day. Yeesh.

It has been a hectic week, with Larkin staying home sick Wednesday and Thursday and then with me getting sick yesterday morning. Arabella in Austin

I have just had the best time the past couple of days visiting with my cousin Arabella and her boyfriend Ben. They are visiting from London, trying to decide if Austin or Atlanta are viable places for them to relocate to. Obviously, I am already envisioning regular get-togethers with these two folks but am trying not to get my hopes up. Man oh man, though, would it be nice to have a family member in town! The weather has really outdone itself during their visit, and we have made sure they hit up some local favorites. But we will see...
