Picnic and Playtime
In the backyard on Sunday. Notice Logan in the 2nd photo, rared back and singing her lungs out. She must be excited about turning two tomorrow.

A Swim Lesson Send-off
Larkin finished her first set of swim lessons today at Tom's Dive and Swim. Grandaddy got to see her in action before he headed out. We ate lunch at Noble Sandwich Co. where we ran into a DSU alum named Chance who recognized Dr. Mitchell. It's a small, small world.

Grandaddy's Nap Time
Interrupted by Logan's climbing and Larkin's order to "Go to sleep, Old Stink." We're not sure where that nickname came from.

Mean Mama
Sneaking a picture of the poor little lamb while she's crashed out. But she's getting to sleep in said mean mama's bed, so that's gotta count for something!

After School Pick-up
Larkin, Logan, and Marvin sometimes hang out in the shady area beside the girls' school for a few minutes in the afternoons, waiting on me to get there from Austin High. Logan in particular loves it and is always hard to convince to get in the car once I arrive. Here she is so enthralled with a bird or squirrel or possibly just a tree branch that Marvin eventually had to carry her to the car. She was greatly offended.

Busy Weekend
The girls are worn out from their weekend of playing at Grandma and Grandpa's. Here they are ten minutes after we got in the car to go home.

Busy Day!
First, there was the Capital 10k. The girls and Marvin tried to find me during the race, but it's hard to spot anyone in a crowd of 25,000 runners. Afterward, we had Larkin's swim lesson and then the girls' first ever movie theater experience. We saw The Humpback Whale Movie in 3D at the IMAX in the Bob Bullock Museum. Logan made it about 20 minutes, and Larkin just barely made it through the whole film. Luckily, it was only 45 minutes long!
