The Girls' First Camping Trip

We survived two days at South Llano River State Park this week. It was cold at night, but we managed. The girls were troopers. The park suffered from a terrible flood back in the fall, so a lot of the trees were in rough shape. But it was pretty with plenty of hiking regardless.

Wildflower Watch

The bluebonnets are out at Grandma and Grandpa's, but the camera never does them justice. We loaded up in Grandpa's truck last night in search of other wildflowers that might be out, but it must be a little early for them yet.

Gymnastics

Logan has started gymnastics again at the YMCA. She's doing well so far! She's probably the oldest in her class, which seems to be good for her.

Five and Eight

There's an apartment conglomeration up and down Manor Rd. now with apartment buildings labeled "Vol. 1, Vol. 2," etc. up to Volume 6. We've managed to snap photos of the girls at each number starting with Larkin as a 4 year old and Logan when she turned 3. One day I'll put them all in one place. We were only slightly late with Logan's 5 shot, seeing as she'll turn 6 in two months. Now that a bar called "8 Track" has also opened on Manor, we are all set except for a 7...

Cold Spring Weather...

...means we finally pulled out the board game we gave Larkin for Christmas--Carcassonne. It's a success! Here are a few photos by Larkin and one from me, too.
