Last Sunday we joined a progressive party around our neighborhood, which entailed walking to various houses where our neighbors played music on their front porches. It was more painful than it sounds since everyone was trying very hard and because, for the most part, the musicians played quiet, contemplative songs on their acoustic guitars. That is, except for Terry (pictured here), who hooked his stereo up to a speaker and blasted some dance tunes. Everyone's efforts were very endearing, despite the awkwardness...
