Larkin and Jessica took Marvin to San Marcos this evening, where Grandma picked him up so that he can get a shot at the first doves of the official dove season tomorrow morning. Larkin approved of the toys Cracker Barrel had for sale.

Making Friends

Now that Larkin is a little person instead of a strange little crawling creature, Sandy has decided she's alright. In the evenings they've taken to hanging out on the back stoop, talking about their day.

Grandpa gave us a tour of the Bendele Homeplace today, land that Marvin, sr. Marvin, jr., and Brian worked on all weekend, clearing brush and prepping for hunting season.
