Larkin and Jessica are worn out from two days of traveling and visiting. Looking forward to a relaxing day in Pontotoc tomorrow...which will hopefully involve sleeping in and a couple of naps.

It Seemed Like a Good Idea

Taking Larkin to Deep Eddy Pool today, that is. Of course, Larkin enjoyed the pool for approximately five minutes and then spent the rest of the visit sitting on her towel watching a squirrel eat food from a trash can.

Uh Oh...

Larkin's looking like her mama's students here, complete with big chains and saggy britches. Nooooooo!!!

First Splash Pad Visit

Judging from the fun Larkin had, this was just the first of many, many visits we'll be making to various splash pads around Austin this summer.

First, a sticky popsicle that melted faster than Larkin could eat it.

Splash Day at School

Last Wednesday when Jessica was frantically grading papers and packing up her classroom, Larkin was enjoying "Splash Day" at the Mini-Maroon Academy. Of course, that was supposed to mean the kids would splash each other with punctured water balloons; but you can see what it meant to Larkin.
