Donation Station

There are two fundraisers happening at Pease right now that I am posting here for anyone who may be looking to support the girls' school. One is the "Cash Dash," found at this link: https://peasecashdash.org/
It is the main fundraiser for the school year, and proceeds will go toward funding a part-time reading tutor, among other things. The goal is $30,000.
The second, smaller fundraiser is for Larkin's class. They are trying to finish raising money for a program called Story Wranglers, which is explained in more detail on Ms. Martinez's Donors Choose page here.

Another Tooth Lost

Logan lost her 2nd tooth Saturday night, which means she finally got her name on the "lost teeth" chart in Ms. Graham's class (her first lost tooth was in the summer). Continuing her sister's tradition, she plans to keep all her baby teeth in a tiny container she picked out this summer on our trip so she can look back when she's older and wonder why she kept all her teeth.

Last Soccer Game of the Season

Coach Marvin was out of town, sadly, but the Bluebonnets marched on to victory 4-1 to make him proud. Larkin spent much of the season as goalie. See below for some action shots.

Hootenanny!

Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego? For tonight, anyway, she was spotted at Pease School with a wild witch. She seemed particularly pleased to see her old buddy Brooklyn, who was visiting from middle school.

Pet Beetle

Larkin and Logan have a pet beetle they've held captive in this cage all week. They took it for a walk around the neighborhood last Sunday and paused for a photo op in front of the house.

Toy Catalogue

Logan's getting ready for Christmas by writing wishlists and circling toys in the Target catalogue. She proudly said when she was done, "I only circled 29 things. That's fine, right?" She's bound to be disappointed now!

Logan decided to make a Save Pease sign tonight to give to her teacher Ms. Graham in the morning.

Busy Friday Assembly

Logan got a reading certificate, and Larkin was a Pease Peacemaker this week.
