House Full of Cousins

We are visiting Cousins David, John, and Mary Claire in Vicksburg tonight before heading back to Austin tomorrow.

Dance Party/Lunch with Friends

Jennifer, Amanda, Rials, and Maggie (sleeping, so not pictured), came to Pontotoc today for lunch and a dance party organized by our resident party planner Larkin. We had balloons, signs, costumes, and music from _Frozen_ (which is surprisingly difficult to dance to, it turns out). M.A. worked herself half to death again--cooking, serving, entertaining the kids, and cleaning up afterward all so that I could visit more with my friends. Our Pontotoc luncheon is turning into quite the annual festivity!

Tea Party with Charline

We visited with Larkin and Logan's first cousin-in-law twice removed Charline today in Verona. She had pulled out a bunch of dolls and strollers for the girls to play with and turned over a box to make an insta-table for a tea party, complete with hand-painted China tea cups of Sprite, mini-marshmallows, and Fritos.

Ready for Disney!!

M.A. treated us to Disney Live today in Tupelo: Snow White, Cinderella, and Beauty and the Beast. David and Larkin both were slightly terrified throughout (though Larkin claimed she was just missing her daddy), keeping with their cautious oldest child status. But John and Logan both enjoyed themselves immensely, with bottomless popcorn and Skittles and princesses. Wait, no, the princesses had bottoms. Um, I mean, I guess they had bottoms?! They didn't appear to be bottomless. Let the record show that, though the Skittles and popcorn definitely were huge, the Disney Princesses' were not...Oy...

Rocking Out with Rials

Logan, Larkin, Rials, Mason, Audrey, and  Jacob all had a big time this afternoon at my friend Angela's house. Jennifer and Amanda joined us, too. We played outside in a rain storm for awhile and then headed upstairs to Mason, Audrey, and Baby Jacob ' s awesome playroom. For the 2nd day in a row, Larkin did NOT want to leave our playdate. Too much fun to be had amongst all these new toys!!

Visiting Rials and Maggie

We went to Senatobia today to visit my good friend Jennifer and her kiddoes. We picked up another dear friend Amanda in Oxford on our way to Jennifer's. I had a difficult time convincing the girls to leave Rials' s house since it was full of fun toys, a trampoline, AND a playscape. They were particularly impressed with Rials's s golf game. The big screen TV with Dora on it was hard to walk away from, too!

Fun with Baxter

We had a playdate and dinner with Baxter and his parents Jessica and Lain yesterday. Baxter has a new playscape and a backyard perfect for digging dinosaur bones, so the visit was a success. It also didn't hurt that his dad makes a mean burger. ☺
