First Steps that Count

Logan took a few steps at school today for her teachers, but we aren't counting those. Her first official steps almost happened in the strawberry patch on Saturday, but Logan was too distracted by the strawberries to actually walk. Fast forward to this evening and she has taken multiple steps several times since getting home. Yay, Logan (And sob!! Our infant is a toddler already??!!)!

We went strawberry - picking today on a farm outside Marble Falls. Larkin enjoyed filling the box with strawberries until she realized she could just eat them immediately off the vine. Then it became all we could do to keep her from eating them before we could get them home to wash them. We distracted her with feeding the goats, taking a tractor - train ride, and jumping on a huge inflatable bouncy pad.

Panda Bear End- of-Year Party

Larkin will be moving up to the Dolphin classroom at the beginning of June, but today was their end - of - year party as other Pandas begin to transition elsewhere. They had a surprise visitor attend the party this afternoon, much to Larkin and her classmates' amusement. Can you spot him in the 1st photo?

Little Runner Girl

Larkin loves to run. Here she is running to the bus stop with her dad in the morning and then running around the lake at the Mueller Development in the afternoon. We thought for sure all that running would make for an early bedtime yesterday.  But, no, she had as much trouble falling asleep as usual...Those two hour naps at school are killing us when bedtime rolls around and we've got a wired three year old on our hands.

Just as Larkin enjoyed playing with her older cousins last weekend, Logan loved laughing with her younger cousins Cody and Emmett. Luke was a hoot, too; but he was on the move too much to catch on camera...
