In Vicksburg with Team Mitchell, M.A., Jimmy, and the Lasseters. Larkin was thrilled with her special cupcake, her new raincoat and rain boots, her new book, and beautiful Christmas snow globe. Hearing everyone sing "Happy birthday" to her was just about more than she could handle.
Lots to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!
Getting a photo with all our "Thanksgivings" was a challenge, however.
Larkin's playing, Marvin's reading, Jessica's grading, and Logan is rolling all over the floor, trying not to miss anything.
...brave IKEA on a Saturday, that is. We were all a bit crabby by the time we reached the cafe at the midpoint, so we stopped for some refreshments. Ultimately, we left the store with nothing but good intentions to go home and order some things online.
Today, Logan got to be in a photo that will end up on her Pediatrician Dr. Bell's Christmas card. Sixteen babies, eight staff members, dreary weather, what could go wrong, right? Surprisingly, it was less chaotic than you would think; and Logan was all smiles, just mostly aimed at Dr. Bell, who was holding her, instead of at the photographer. Here are some shots Jessica snapped during the process. Logan is the 6th baby from the right.
The girls were both intrigued by their new Advent calendar. It will be a great new tradition to read each little book every year!
Larkin woke up at 5:30 AM and realized her daddy had gone hunting, so she refused to go back to sleep. Instead, she had a busy day checking out the pig and cows Grandpa brought by the house and playing with Cousin Bailey. It caught up with her by 4:30 PM, as she crashed out on the couch (hugging Grandma's piggy bank) despite a room full of activity. Meanwhile, Logan and Emmett enjoyed some attention from Taylor and Bailey.
